It doesn’t solve a thing, but I know we’re hurting
Paying no attention to the man behind the curtain
So certain that the next season of something will come and save us
Living off of content and sub-subsistence wages
Or maybe you’ve been caking and the struggle isn’t real
It’s just another headline and not something you feel
But lots of people feel it and I know I feel it, too
We’re all kinds of complicated with room to improve
